The Night Journey (Al Isra) 70: And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.
The Combined Forces (Al Ahzab) 72: Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.
The Letter 26 – Topic 4 – Matter 3: With His perfect power, Almighty God makes many things from a single thing, causes one thing to perform numerous duties, and writes a thousand books on a single page; so too He created man as a comprehensive species, in place of many species. That is to say, He willed that through man, a single species, functions would be performed to the number of the different levels of all the animal species. For this reason, He placed no innate limit on man’s powers and senses, no natural restriction, and left them free. Those of the other animals are limited and naturally restricted. Whereas each of man’s powers may roam free over an endless distance towards infinity. For since he is a mirror to the infinite manifestations of the names of the universe’s Creator, his powers have been given an infinite capacity.
